Global Aviation Data A/S is a Danish company funded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation in cooperation with the Centre for Advanced Technology associated with the Risoe National Laboratory. Global Aviation Data A/S also works with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and with aviation physicians and cancer researchers. Furthermore the Danish Space Research Institute has endorsed the mathematical basis and methodology of the extremely complicated calculations for the system. This system is called GlobaLog®.

Medical research has documented a significant correlation between overexposure to cosmic radiation and certain types of cancer.
